Bob Robinson’s first love is the great outdoors. Born and raised in the Natural State, he learned to appreciate all the state offers in the way of kayaking, hiking, bicycling, rock climbing, camping, and just harmonizing with nature.
Bob’s second love in life is writing. He enjoys blending these interests by recording his outdoor adventures in print. He has written three bicycle touring guidebooks, in addition to being a regular contributor to BSAVVY, the Arkansas Gazette’s Style section, Bike Arkansas, Arkansas Wild, Paddle Arkansas, Singletrack, and other related publications.
He also refers to himself as a “professional volunteer.” Realizing the trails he enjoys hiking and bicycling do not just happen, he has contributed hundreds of hours constructing and maintaining Arkansas’ trails. He was the Trail Maintenance Coordinator for the Ozark Highlands Trails Association for seven years and is currently the Trail Maintenance Coordinator for Frontier Ozark Off-Road Cycling.
